Come join us again on April 2, 2022 for the 26th HHC Annual Meeting at Lutheran Hills camp in Brown County. We’ll get together for a hike, HHC updates, awards, special guest speaker, fabulous door prizes, and a pitch-in dinner (please bring a dish to share). Meet other HHC members and catch up on what everyone’s been doing! Spend an hour or the whole day, whatever your schedule allows.
This year’s guest speaker is Steve Rolfe a Civil War historian with the Monroe County History Center’s Civil War Roundtable. He will give a talk on the life and exploits of Captain David van Buskirk, the largest man in the Union army. Big Dave’s great-granddaughter, Patsy Powell, donated the Powell Preserve property to the Sycamore Land Trust.
Here’s the schedule of events for the meeting:

Noon – Hike
2:00 pm – HHC board updates and awards
3:00 pm – Speaker
4:30 pm – Door prizes

If we’re not staying overnight do we need to RSVP to attend? I will be attending all day. Is there a fee?
