The Hoosier Hikers Council will hold its 19th Annual Meeting on April 5th at the Lutheran Hills Church Camp.
You won’t want to miss this chance to celebrate HHC’s 2013 accomplishments and learn about plans for 2014! The Annual Meeting is a great time to socialize with old friends and make new ones. There’ll be a casual hike, an informative program, award presentations, an exciting prize give-away, a pitch-in dinner, and live entertainment! You can even stay overnight at one of the Lutheran Hills cabins to prolong the revelry!
Meeting Schedule:
11:30 – Doors open
12:30 – Hike on the Tecumseh and Lutheran Hills trails
3:30 – HHC Board presentation and awards
4:30 – Presentation on the SCI REMC Raptor and Wildlife Program. Learn how and why the South Central Indiana Rural Electric Membership Cooperative encourages wildlife habitat preservation and restoration.
6:00 – Pitch in dinner with main dish provided
6:00 – Musical entertainment by the Sanderson Family. A local favorite in Martinsville, Jerold Sanderson and his daughters play lively traditional music.
Overnight Accommodations:
The meeting will end at 8:00 pm, but you are invited to stay overnight at the camp. Guesthouses and cabins are available for $20 per person. There will be breakfast and a hike on Sunday. Please contact Bonnie Wilcoxson at mlwilcoxson@sbcglobal.net for more information or to make reservations.
